Join our Sewing Escapades class and learn to sew five simple fun projects in nine weeks! As students create a headband, tote bag, art portfolio, pillow, and hot/cold rice pack, they will learn how to operate their sewing machine, as well as how to choose appropriate fabric for different types of projects, how to read a pattern, how to cut fabric using a pattern, and how to put the fabric together. This fun and fast-paced class will prepare students to sew projects of their own at home and move up to Sewing Escapades II later in the year! Sewing is an essential skill and a money saver. Certainly, your tuition money will be paid back many times over as your child eventually creates beautiful items for their home and wardrobe at a fracction of the cost of purchasing those same items of less quality in the store!
