What a unique and spectacular creative experience! Learn about the many different types of Fiber Art, creating projects from fabric and yarn with fun processes like weaving, knitting, felting, and sewing. Students will learn about different colors combinations, textures and patterns that can be explored. The soothing aspects of yarn and fabrics plus the repetitive pattern of movement which helps develop hand-eye coordination, what a bonus! During these six weeks, you will be creating incredible projects like Dream Catchers, God's Eyes, Yarn Painting, Guatemalan Worry Dolls, Peace flags, recycled t-shirts, rug weaving, pom pom, tassels, and more.
