Students and their families will embark on an exciting journey to explore a diverse array of dance styles originating from people of African descent. This high-energy class combines traditional and contemporary elements to create a dynamic fusion of dance, music, and culture that will engage participants of all ages.

During these sessions, not only will our students learn and practice these captivating dance styles, but families are also encouraged to join in the fun. We believe that shared experiences like this can strengthen family bonds and provide a unique opportunity for intergenerational learning and enjoyment.

The highlight of our Fall session will be a spectacular performance experience scheduled for December 11, 2023, at the College of Southern Maryland. This event is not just a showcase of our students' talents but a celebration of the collective effort and enthusiasm of our entire dance community, including students and their families.

We look forward to seeing both students and their families come together to celebrate the richness of African dance traditions and create lasting memories. It's a wonderful opportunity for families to share in the joy of learning and performing together.
