Drama Unlocked: Finding Your Voice in Big Emotions

In this class, students will dive into the heart of acting—learning how to bring real, honest emotions to the stage. Through age-appropriate monologues and two-person scenes, students will explore a wide range of feelings such as anger, frustration, jealousy, shame, guilt, and joy. They will learn how to connect emotionally to their characters, express those emotions in healthy and creative ways, and support their scene partners in telling powerful stories—all while gaining a deeper understanding of both intense human emotions and themselves.

Each week will blend performance practice with fun exercises designed to build confidence, empathy, and emotional awareness. By the end of the five weeks, students will have performed short monologues and duet scenes that showcase their growth as young actors—learning not just how to act, but how to feel, listen, and respond with authenticity.
