Come join us at the NCAC Chess Club! We will be meeting for general play and instruction. First day is free!

Class 1 (Oct 17 — FREE): The Board (coordinates), names of pieces, pawn basics

  • Class 2: Bishops & Rooks — movement and tactics

  • Class 3: The Queen & Knights — power pieces and forks

  • Class 4: The King — check, checkmate, and basic mating patterns
