This watercolor course will teach students essential techniques to create dynamic and vibrant art. In Class 1, we'll introduce various watercolor methods to develop a strong foundation. In Class 2, we're diving into blending colors with a wet-on-wet technique by painting ice cream scoops and creating a color wheel that explores different color relationships. Class 3 challenges students to paint bold, colorful mountain landscapes using layering techniques and wet-on-dry methods for added depth and texture. In Class 4, we'll experiment with crayon relief, salt, and alcohol to create intricate textures while painting fall leaves, using at least two of these techniques. This class is all about improving watercolor skills and pushing each student's creativity to the next level.
