In this session of Scene Mates, young actors will dive into the art of scene study with a focus on emotional depth and authentic connection. Building on our previous work in understanding emotions, students will learn how to bring truth and nuance to their performances by exploring different emotional levels in partner scenes. Through interactive exercises, improvisation, and guided scene work, students will develop skills in active listening, emotional responsiveness, and character relationships.
By the end of the six weeks, each pair will perform a fully developed scene, showcasing their ability to connect, react, and create compelling, believable moments on stage. This class is perfect for young performers looking to strengthen their acting foundation while having fun and building confidence!
