Using air-dry clay, acrylic paint, young artists will sculpt and paint animals such as frogs, turtles, dragonflies, and snails, all while learning about the wetlands.

Step into the world of wetlands! In this hands-on art and science class, students will explore the beauty and importance of wetland ecosystems while creating their own 3D diorama. Using air-dry clay, acrylic paint, young artists will sculpt and paint animals such as frogs, turtles, dragonflies, and snails.


Students will:

  • Learn about wetland functions, types, and importance

  • Explore ecosystem balance and preservation

  • Create clay sculptures of wetland creatures

  • Sketch and paint a scenic background with acrylics
