Join us for an awesome outer space and astonishing astronaut exploration! Your child will learn all about planets and moon phases as they paint their own unique solar system. Stars and constellations will amaze them once they build their star constellations and create shooting star Crayon art. Your child will be captivated by our mysterious galaxy’s beauty as they make and play with their very own galaxy slime and nebula jars! They will learn all about and explode moon rocks and planets. We will examine life on a space station, all the parts of an astronaut suit, and the requirements to be an astronaut by the end of our camp! Don’t wait to sign up! An Amazing Amazon Workshop

How do trees grow so tall with such malnutrition soil? Why did the Amazon river run backward for so long? Do they really eat coconut worms and how do they cook them? Join us as we start learning about the breathtaking Amazon! From learning about Amazon tribes and making stunning plaster masks to studying the native rainforest plants and making your own amazing terrarium! We’ll have so much fun making our own unique dioramas of the rainforest and weaving our own special tree of life!  So many interesting facts to learn with fun hands-on activities as we explore this exotic culture rich with traditions. Come and join us to learn about the Amazon!

Deep-Sea Diving Workshop

You don’t want your child to miss out on this deep-sea voyage! Your child will learn about all the incredible creatures that live in the ocean as they paint their very own pufferfish, create their own jellyfish, and make a frameable ocean creature with nail and string art! We will explore the science and beauty of waves as we paint our own beach with real sand! And, of course, we must make our very own ocean slime! Ocean themed collages, painting, printmaking using shells, will abound! All the while, we will be learning about the layers of the ocean, shark buoyancy, current, blubber, and more through science experiments (including making their very own ocean density jar and tide pool). Not to mention they will become an expert at boomwhackers as they practice some ocean songs!

Taking Flight Workshop

Monday, March 23 - Thursday, March 26,

1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

From the Wright brothers to bird studies to weather explorations, this spectacular workshop is out of sight! Our adventurous week overflows with super-science and cool multi-media art experiences. Everyone loves exploring aerodynamics with paper airplane tournaments, parachute egg drops, and mind-blowing water bottle rocket contests! We will build stunning birdhouses and create bird treats to continue observing the life of birds at home! Origami, wire, clay, and other multi-media art will fill this experience with exploratory creativity and lots of outside fun!
